CALLING ALL GARDENERS!

If you are an experienced or a beginning gardener, you are most welcome to join Terry Lewins (0426 006 853) at the Boyd St garden on Thursdays between 12:30-1:30pm. The hydroponics and wicking beds may be of particular interest to those wanting to find out about these innovative gardening methods.

We cordially invite all members to PLANNING DAY
14th of May 9.00 am - 12.00pm Boyd Street RSVP by 11 May
Planning Day is the opportunity for members to contribute to planning how U3A Southern Gold Coast will go forward.
There are many important items to discuss and plans to be made.
How should we best serve our current membership. What are the opportunities to increase membership. How do we remain sustainable into the future. Venue needs for the next few years. Equipment and resource needs.
The session will be facilitated by Elizabeth Logan.

TEA & TALK

CHANGE OF SPEAKER
Thursday 21 April 9.00am Boyd Street
Irene Sachs will talk about her time working in Africa (Malawi to be precise) this Thursday.
Due to council commitments Cr O'Neill is unable to join us for Tea & Talk on Thursday. She has been rebooked for June. All being well she'll be with us then.

HAPPY EASTER!

All venues will be closed over the Easter public holidays and Anzac Day.
Some venues will be available on the QLD Labour day public holiday.
Class members should liaise with their Tutor regarding Labour Day Holiday class arrangements.
The Office will be closed on all the Public Holidays including Labour Day.
