Welcome to U3A SOUTHERN GOLD COAST 2025

Another year of events and challenges, thought-provoking discussion, intellectual stimulation, physical activity and most importantly companionship.

U3A is brought to our members through the generosity of our volunteers who donate their enthusiasm, their time and their knowledge and talent.

Our volunteers serve on the management committee, run the office, promote us in the community, organise events, support our technology and conduct discussions and classes.

There would be no U3A SOUTHERN GOLD COAST without our volunteers.

If you are interested in being involved, you do not need to sign up for a particular role, we welcome volunteers to help with one off events or projects.

Any contribution of time, skill and support is welcome and important.

We invite you to join U3A SOUTHERN GOLD COAST volunteers.

This year we say farewell and thank you to Derek Robertson. Derek is an honorary tutor who has dedicated his extensive research and class time to sharing his vast scientific knowledge with our members. His contribution over the years has been appreciated by the committee and enjoyed by his classes. From the programme manager Meg Johnson and president, Vicki Harvie, thank you Derek, we wish you the best.
